Kevin L. Hamblin, DDS, PC

I love to make people smile and improve their confidence with a beautiful smile!

I was born and raised in Idaho, but have lived in several states around the country.  In 1993, I married my best friend Leslie and together we have 8 children (4 boys and 4 girls) and 11 grandchildren.  My oldest daughter Chelsea passed away while I was attending Case Western Reserve dental school in Cleveland, Ohio.  Leslie’s youngest son, Alex is autistic and handicapped, so we have been full circle with life’s challenges.

In 1987 I graduated from the University of Tennessee dental school and I have been providing dentistry to the great people of Idaho and Nevada since graduation.  I am a recipient of the Dent-Supply International Merit award for my work in removable prosthetic dentistry and I am an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Idaho State Dental Association (ISDA), and the South Central Idaho Dental Society (SCIDS).

I currently serve on the dental hygiene advisory committee for the College of Southern Idaho, and as board member of Idaho Dental Foundation.  I have been a past president of the South Central Dental Society (SCIDS) and a past dental advisory chairman for Blue Cross of Idaho Insurance.  I have also been an Idaho representative for PRECEDENT (practice based research) in the Northwest.  I have also served in PEARL (practice based research) n the Northeast.

I am actively involved in my church and love to be outdoors and spending time with my family.  I love to go 4-wheeling, trap shooting, deep-sea fishing, bowling, hunting, golfing and travel.

Chase Funk, DDS

I am originally from Hansen, Idaho and I am very thrilled to be back home in the Magic Valley practicing dentistry.

I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care and expertise to patients. I believe in treating patients like family and educating them to make the best choices for their oral health care.

Meet Our Team

Our dentist in Twin Falls, Idaho, is proud to be assisted by our friendly dental team, who focuses on giving our patients a great dental experience by providing quality services and comfortable care. Meet the team members at the practice of Kevin L. Hamblin, DDS by reading their biographies below.

Leslie Hamblin – Office Manager

I was born in Twin Falls, raised n Pocatello and Ogden Utah.  I graduated from Weber High School in Ogden, Utah in 1974.  After graduation I came back to Twin Falls to stay with my grandmother and I am still here.

I have been in the dental field for 35 years; most of that time was spent as a dental assistant, the last several years as the office manager for our dental practice.  The most rewarding part of being in the dental field is the opportunity we have to change our patient’s lives by giving them beautiful smiles.  I have watched this change patient lives, the self esteem and confidence just happens.  It is so exciting and such an awesome feeling when a patient leaves with tears of JOY.  I love it and wish we could help everyone!

Kevin and I have been married for 23 years.  I have two boys and he has two boys and three daughters.  My youngest son is handicapped.  He is a blessing to our family.  We have 11 grandchildren.  They are so much fun!  Most of them live close so that is very nice.

Kevin and I like to 4-wheel, shoot (we have done trap shooting as a team), boating, bowling, and travel.  For me personally, I am trying to find time to learn the art of making jewelry.

Michele Bales – Dental Assistant

I was born and raised in the Magic Valley.  I graduated from Buhl High School and in 1989 went to Bryman School in Salt Lake City, Utah to become a dental assistant.  I’m not sure where my dental interest came from, but I know that I truly enjoy dental assisting and helping patients.  After graduation, my first job was in Vernal, Utah, where I started by doing my externship and then was hired by that practice.  About a year later I moved back to Magic Valley and worked for a local dentist for 12 years.

I came to Dr. Hamblin’s practice in 2007.  I love helping patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.  Since working with Dr. Hamblin, I have gained additional training and experience in implants, cosmetic dentistry, and sleep apnea.

When I’m not working I love spending time with my family especially my fiancé who is the love of my life.  I have a wonderful 2 year old grandson and a brand new granddaughter.

Suzanne – Front Office/Financial Coordinator

I have worked in the dental field for over 25 years.  Of my time spent in the dental field, 14 years have been with Dr. Hamblin’s front office.  My favorite part about working here is meeting and getting to know all of the patients, so being part of the front office is the perfect place for me!  I am very grateful to be part of the front office to help our patients with their appointments, insurance, and any questions they may have.

My free time is spent outside as much as possible.  I love going on 4-wheeler adventures with my husband and friends, working on my yard projects, and growing a vegetable garden.  I also love to read.

My family is everything to me; I am very proud of my two sons and their families.

Terri Corthell – Front Office Scheduling/Insurance Coordinator

I have been a member of Dr. Hamblin’s front office staff since 2007.  I enjoy all our patients; but I especially like helping those that are nervous about their visits, because I used to be one of them.  My position in the office is making appointments, insurance, and helping out wherever they need me.

I am a Magic Valley native, and love living in this area.  I enjoy camping, hiking, and day-tripping with my husband and grown children when we get the chance.  I also love flower gardening, ceramics, stained glass, paper crafts, reading and walking.  If it’s crafty, I’m into it!

Heidi Bullock – Registered Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in Rupert, Idaho.  I graduated from Minico High School and attended two years at CSI in Twin Falls.  From there, I went on to Apollo College in Boise, Idaho and received my degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005.  I have worked in the dental field for 15 years.  I love working with our patients to help them achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.  I have been with Dr. Hamblin’s dental office since October 2011; however, I had previously filled in for other hygienists in the office since graduating in 2005.

I am married to the love of my life, Thomas and we have 3 beautiful children, Gavin, Ruthie and Luke.  I enjoy working out, camping, skiing, and working in my yard.  I truly enjoy being outdoors no matter what the season is, as long as I’m with family and friends.

Lisa Campbell – Dental Assistant

lisa-236x300I was born in Pocatello, Idaho. I graduated high school in Twin Falls, Idaho. After high school I married my husband, who I have now been married to for 16 years. My mother in law introduced me to dental assisting. I instantly fell in love with the profession. I received my dental assisting certification from CSI. I assisted for Dr. Hamblin for 4 years, and then decided to take a 7 year break to stay home with my 2 children while they were little. Once I was ready to come back to work, Dr. Hamblin rehired me, and I am so grateful! I loved working for Dr. Hamblin before, and I am so happy to be back in his office once again.

I enjoy cooking and baking. My kids love being in the kitchen with me. In our spare time, my husband and I love to go camping, motorcycle riding, bowling, or anything that makes a good memory with our 2 wonderful children.
